how to use

1. with inner curve of mascara brush, comb through mascara from the root to ends.

Must have

This is the only product that does not flake or smear on me. My skin is Colorado middle aged dry but my eyelids are greasy AF. Between creams applied to prevent my face skin from flaking off and eyelid grease, nothing stays on my lashes-except this. Both the brown and black. I've used both and they work phenomenally. The brown is the perfect brown so it adds definition but still natural looking.

I too have short straight SA eyes, and I've tried SOOO many brands . I'm embarrassed to say how long it took me before I realized I should have checked to see what other Asian people used! This was one of three brands, none are sold in a store in my area, so I had to buy online and cross my fingers. Already, I know these are significantly better than what I've tried before (drugstore, fancy = nothing). They do lengthen, they do hold the curl better than I've had before, and they don't smudge/move. I've had to try different eye removers, other reviewers aren't joking about staying on, but I think I'm happy with the Clinique Take The Day Off for lids and lashes (NOT the balm, that'll get INTO the eyes *shudder*). I also got a better metal eyelash comb for precision fussing, but it doesn't take much since it's not coating my lashes all heavily; it's a nice, natural looking mascara.
So, two things that are important to note:
1) there IS product in the tube, but maybe it's an issue of warming/loosening up to make it flow or something?
2) be careful about applying too much!!! It'll feel heavy and keep catching on each other in the outer corners.

WOW!!

My eyelashes are straight and never stay curled. I have tried a ton of mascaras and nothing has worked until now. I love this mascara. You do have to work fast since it dries quickly but it's a small price to pay for curled lashes. I got waterproof and didn't have trouble removing it. I didnt have mascara flaking off during the day. Great product.

Very good

So, I bought this because I struggle with under eye smudging throughout the day. This is excellent for that issue. Also, after a few weeks of use it has stayed perfect in the tube with no clumping or thickness unlike most mascaras. I would note that is not easily removed with baby oil which is my usual mascara remover. For the price, it really is great.

Amazing
